Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chips Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Butter, softened (230g)
  • 1 cup Sugar (230g)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 cups Flour (430g)
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips (380g)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven at 350F (180C).
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix the butter and sugar until soft.
  • Add the eggs, one at the time.
  • Add the vanilla and mix.
  • Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix until well combined.
  • Add the chocolate chips, hold on to 1/4 cup for decorating.
  • Shape little balls of cookie dough and place them onto a baking sheet with a silicone mat.
  • Decorate each cookie with a few chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 12 minutes. Don't over bake or the cookies won't be soft and chewy!
