Homemade Ricotta

Ingredients
  

  • 2 L Milk
  • 4 tbsp Lemon Juice (or 3 and 1 of apple cider vinegar)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, warm up the milk and salt over medium heat to 185F (85C).
  • Turn off the heat and add the lemon juice.
  • Let it sit cover for 15 minutes.
  • Scoop the curd into a cheese cloth and let it drain for a few minutes up to 20 minutes, depending on how moist you like your ricotta.
  • Place into a container and refrigerate.
