Prepare your fire.
Butter the bottom of your cast iron skillet.
Add the fresh berries and sugar.
In a small bowl, mix the flour, almond flour and sugar. With your fingers mix in the butter until the dough makes little chunks.
Place the little chunks of dough on the berries. You can double the recipe for the dough if you want!
Once the fire is out and only hot coals remain, place a few rocks on the coals and place your skillet on top.
Cover your berry crumble with the lid of a cast iron dutch oven or some aluminium foil and let cook!
The baking time will depend on the temperature of the fire but it can take anywhere between 20 minutes and 1 hour!
