Almond Tuiles

Ingredients
  

  • 4 (140g) Egg whites
  • 2 cups (225g) Sliced Almonds
  • 1 cup (225g) Sugar
  • (50g) Butter, melted and cooled
  • 3 tbsp (40g) Flour

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix together the almonds, egg whites, sugar and melted butter.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1h, or over night.
  • Turn on the oven at 350F (180C).
  • Mix in the flour.
  • On a baking sheet, spread a little bit of the mixture. Flatten with a fork to make little disks.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, until the sides are golden.
  • Allow to cool down.
  • Tip: if you want to fill up your tuiles, allow them to cool down on a rolling pan, then fill them up with whipped cream, chocolate mousse, ice cream...
