How to make Chocolate Mousse
You do not need to be a pastry chef or even a good baker to manage this recipe! If you can break an egg you can make this recipe! All you need to do is beat the egg whites, melt the chocolate, mix in the sugar and the egg yolks and then incorporate the egg whites! That’s it!
The only tricky part is to make sure there NO egg yolk in your egg white mixture! If you find yourself with even the tiniest bit of yolk in your egg whites stop everything you are doing and carefully remove it before you start beating your egg whites! if you skip this step you will not be able to get the perfect consistency of the egg whites and your chocolate mousse will not be firm enough!
Now that your egg whites are perfect all you need to do is to gently and slowly fold them in the chocolate mixture. Take your time! This is not a race! The goal here is to mix the egg whites and the chocolate mixture well without loosing the air you added in the egg whites before. If you take your time there is not reason why you shouldn’t be able to get it right!
No need for a long post so here comes the recipe!
