When I decided to make everything from scratch (life goal!), one of my dream was to be able to make chocolate bars and candies. But also, make them with less food colouring, less weird things that nobody can pronounce, no palm oil… Well, it will still be chocolate bars and candies but it will be a little less bad for us! So I here it is! I am trying! Homemade bounty are so easy to make! You will never by a bounty ever again!
These treats are already gluten free! And you can even make dairy free or a vegan homemade bounty by switching the condensed milk with coconut condensed milk and cover it with vegan chocolate!
For me, the condensed milk give those chocolate bars enough sweetness. But if you want a those bars to be a little more sweet, feel free to add a little bit of sugar! All you have to do is add some and mix it in the coconut mixture. You can always try the recipe as it is and then decide if you would like to add some more!
So here is my first recipe for homemade bounty!!! This delicious chocolate bar is made of coconut and chocolate! It is the simplest and fastest treat ever! It doesn’t need any fancy equipment (not even an oven!) or any particular skill. If you can poor and stir you are good to go!
All you need is shredded coconut, coconut milk, condensed milk and chocolate!
Simply mix together the coconut, the condensed milk and the coconut milk in a bowl. Shape that paste into anything you want! I went for the classic shape of a store bought bounty but you can do anything! Round, rectangle, square, heart… The possibilities are endless! So have fun with it!
