If you have a little girl you probably familiar with unicorns! Those wonderful little creatures who live in the imagination of our little ones! In my house, we often turn into unicorns! Most of the time our imagination is enough but sometimes we need some props! So we made this DIY unicorn headband! And if you follow this tutorial you can become unicorns too!
Supplies you’ll need
For this DIY unicorn headband you’ll only need supplies that you probably already have at home (if you are into craft) or that you can find at the dollar store!
Here is the list of what you’ll need to make this homemade unicorn horn:
- coloured foam sheet
- a matching headband
- some fabric flowers
- foam filling
- a golden wired thread
- a glue gun
- scissors
How to make this DIY Unicorn Headband
This unicorn headband only is super easy to make and will give you and your little ones hours of fun! Become real life unicorns in minutes!
Follow these few steps and let the magic begin!
First, make a cone with a piece of foam and glue the edge.
Fill up the cone with some foam.
Cut the side slightly then pinch the horn on the headband and glue the sides together so the horn is secured on the headband.
Glue the end of the golden wired thread and place it inside the top of the horn. Surround the horn with the thread and glue the other end on the horn.
Draw little ears on the left over foam. Then fold the foam at the base of the ear and cut so your ear has two sides. Place the ear on the headband and glue the two side together.
Glue some flowers at the base of the horn between the two ears.
And voila! Your unicorn headband is ready!
