DIY Monster Eyes for Halloween

// DIY

Decorating our house for Halloween is always a lot of fun! It’s as new for me as it is for my daughter so I think I enjoy it at least as much as she does! We took out our little Clay Ghosts and made this DIY Monster Eyes for Halloween and we love it! It’s super easy and spooky but not scary at all so it’s perfect for the little ones!

Supplies you’ll need

You won’t need a lot of supplies for this one but you might need to think ahead ant start saving your toilet paper rolls!

  • Toilet paper rolls (as many as you want!)
  • Flat black paint
  • Scissors
  • Glow sticks (same amount of toilet paper rolls), you can use different colours or just one! Up to you! My daughter chose pink (big surprise here!) because apparently monsters with glowy pink eyes are not so scary!

That’s all you need!

How to make DIY Monster Eyes for Halloween

First, paint your paper toilet rolls black. I find spray paint easier for this kind of craft but feel free to paint them with a paint brush!

Cut some spooky eyes into the rolls. You can do different shaped for each roll or not! It’s up to you!

That’s it! Place a glow stick in each roll and turn the lights off!

We stick them on walls everywhere but I wouldn’t recommend to place them in your kids bedroom as they can be scary in the middle of the night!
